Anonymous asked: Is there anything around the house I could use to mimick boning? I'm making a leather vest and the leather is very soft, and I don't want it to "buckle" at my waist when I lace it up (since it's supposed to be like a medieval bodice... kind of.) Would plastic boning be OK for this, and can I get that at fabric stores? Sorry if this is annoying...
